Are you interested in joining us for a mission trip?

We are excited about your interest in joining us on a JCC Mission trip! We hope to make your application process as simple as possible. Please set aside the next 12-20 minutes to fill out the application thoroughly as it can not be saved throughout the process.

Once you submit your application please allow us 1-2 weeks to process and review your application before expecting a response. The submission of your application does not automatically mean that you will be accepted for the trip you're applying for, but by completing this application, you are only expressing a desire to be a part of one of our upcoming international trips. Our missions committee will review applications and let you know about the next step.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at info@jamul.org. Thanks so much and we hope to serve alongside you soon!

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe the Bible in its original languages is the plenary, verbal, inspired Word of God and is both authoritative and infallible. (II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

2. We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that these three persons are one God. (Mark 12:29; Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-4; Acts 5:3,4; Hebrews 1:1-3; I John 5:7)

3. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ:
a. His virgin birth. (Luke 1:26-33; John 1:1-5; Philippians 2:6-8; John 1:14; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 1:1-3)
b. His substitutionary atonement. (Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:22; I Peter 1:19; Revelation 1:5; Hebrews 2:9; John 3:1-18; I Peter 2:24; I Corinthians 15:3; Isaiah 53)
c. His physical resurrection. (I Corinthians 15:3-23; John 20; Psalms 167:10,11; Act 2:22-36)
d. His bodily ascension to the Father. (Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:24; Acts 7:55,56; John 20:17; Hebrews 8:11)
e. His personal return for the church. (John 14:3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; I Corinthians 15:22, 23, 51, 52)

4. We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit; and in His work of conviction of sin and regenerating; His indwelling the believer to give victory over sin and to give power in service. (John 14:16,17,26; John 16:7-11; Romans 8:8-16; Titus 3:5; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18; I Corinthians 6:19,20)

5. We believe in the universality and exceeding sinfulness of sin. (Romans 7:13; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 6:23)

6. We believe in the New Birth by the Spirit of God, whereby we are made the Children and Heirs of God. (John 3:3-16; John 1:11-13; Titus 3:5-7; Romans 8:16,17; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Acts 16:31)

7. We believe in the eternal salvation of the regenerate and in the eternal condemnation of the unregenerate. (John 1:27-29; Romans 14:12; I John 5:18; Romans 8:37-39; Revelation 22:1-5; I Thessalonians 4:17; Matthew 25:46; II Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:10-15)

8. We believe in the personality and reality of Satan. (Matthew 13:39; Matthew 4:1-11; Ephesians 6:11; John 13:2; John 8:44; Acts 5:3; Revelation 12:9,10; I Peter 5:8; Revelation 20:1-4; Luke 10:18; Genesis 3)

9. We believe the Bible teaches a separated life for the Christian. (Romans 12:1, 2; II Corinthians 6:17; I Corinthians 8:13; Hebrews 12:2; II Timothy 2:19; Ephesians 4-6)

10. We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:1-10; John 14:23)

11. We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Behavior or attitudes not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of the church directed toward any individual are to be repudiated. (Ephesians 4: 1-6; Galatians 5:13-14; Leviticus 19:18)

12. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged outside of marriage:
a. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Genesis 2:22-24; Matthew 19:4-6)
b. We believe that any form of sexual immorality, including, but not limited to, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography or any attempt to changes one’s sex or disagreement with one’s biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God. (Leviticus 18:6; Leviticus 20:13,15-17; Romans 1:26, 27; I Corinthians 6:18-20)
c. We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of the church as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the church members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the church in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, abide by and agree to this Statement on Marriage and Sexuality and conduct themselves accordingly. (I Corinthians 5:9-13; I Corinthians 6:18-20)
